This Privacy Policy explains how Fluffer Bot (“Fluffer,” “the Bot,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) processes information when used in our Discord community.
1. What Fluffer Bot Does
Fluffer is a Discord bot used by our community of players. It helps us post automated and scheduled news announcements, share game-related content in dedicated channels, and better understand community feedback.
Fluffer may also read user messages in certain Discord channels to categorize them and summarize Feedback and Bug Report messages for our development team.
2. Information Fluffer Processes
Fluffer may temporarily process the following information while operating:
- Message content posted in channels where Fluffer is active
- Feedback and Bug Report messages
- Discord server, channel, message, and user identifiers required by Discord for the bot to function
- Bot usage data, such as commands used or automated tasks triggered
This information is processed only as needed to provide Fluffer’s features.
Fluffer does not intentionally collect passwords, payment information, private Discord direct messages, or information from servers where it has not been added.
3. No Persistent Storage of User Data
Fluffer processes message data in order to perform its functions, but it does not store or persist raw user messages.
Fluffer also does not retain Discord user identifiers, usernames, display names, message IDs, or other Discord identifiers after processing is complete.
Any feedback or bug report information sent to our development team is anonymized before being shared. This means it is not linked to a Discord user account or Discord identifier.
4. How We Use Processed Information
We use information processed by Fluffer to:
- Operate the bot and provide its features
- Post scheduled news announcements
- Share game-related content in community channels
- Categorize community messages
- Summarize Feedback and Bug Report messages
- Report anonymized feedback and bug report summaries to our development team
- Improve our games, community experience, and support processes
- Prevent abuse, spam, or misuse of the bot where necessary
We do not use Fluffer to sell user data.
5. Message Reading and Anonymized Summaries
Fluffer may read messages in channels where it has permission to operate. This is used to identify and summarize messages that appear to contain feedback, bug reports, or other useful community signals.
Summaries shared with our development team are anonymized and do not include Discord usernames, Discord user IDs, display names, message IDs, or other direct Discord identifiers.
The purpose of these summaries is to help us understand common issues, bugs, player concerns, and community feedback without tracking individual users.
6. Sharing of Information
Fluffer does not sell user data or share raw Discord message data with advertisers or third parties.
Anonymized feedback and bug report summaries may be shared internally with members of our development, community, support, and moderation teams.
Information may also be processed by infrastructure or hosting providers as necessary to operate the bot, but we do not intentionally persist raw user messages or Discord identifiers.
We may disclose information if required by law or necessary to protect users, our services, or our community.
7. Data Retention
Fluffer does not retain raw user messages or Discord identifiers after processing is complete.
Anonymized feedback and bug report summaries may be retained for development, quality tracking, debugging, and product improvement purposes. These summaries are not linked to Discord user accounts.
8. User Choices and Requests
Because Fluffer does not retain Discord identifiers or raw user messages after processing, we may not be able to locate or delete specific historical records associated with an individual Discord account.

9. Server Administrator Controls
Discord server administrators control which permissions Fluffer has in their server and which channels the bot can access. Administrators may restrict Fluffer’s access by changing channel permissions or removing the bot from the server.
10. Children’s Privacy
Fluffer is intended for use within our Discord community and is not directed at children under the age required to use Discord in their region. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children who are not permitted to use Discord.
11. Security
We take reasonable steps to protect information processed by Fluffer from unauthorized access, misuse, loss, or disclosure. However, no online service can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
12. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make changes, we will update the “Last updated” date above. Continued use of Fluffer after changes are posted means the updated policy applies.
